A-TEC Power Plant Systems GmbH is a subsidiary of AE&E Group and has been founded to be a player at the European Market for combined cycle power stations.

In cooperation with established suppliers of gas turbines, the Austrian Energy and Environment Group as well as other reliable partners we are in the position to provide professional solutions that perfectly meet the requirements of our customers.

Management

• 

  Harald Pickl, born 1951-07-30

  After his Master in Industrial Engineering, Mr. Pickl started his professional career 1978 as Sales Engineer for boilers at Waagner Biro (Graz, Austria).
  
  He gained his first international experiences between 1980 and 1987 during his engagement at Borsig (Berlin, Germany). As Head of Sales he was responsible for markets in the Middle East, Emirates and Iran regarding boilers and power plants. Between 1987 and 1991 he was engaged with Simmering Graz Pauker (Vienna/Graz, Austria) as Head of the Division "Power Plants". From 1991 to 1996 he was General Manager of Unitherm GmbH (Vienna, Austria), a company specialised in gas and oil burning technology, before he joined VA-Tech Hydro GmbH as Head of the Division "Combined Cycle".
  
  In July 2006, Mr. Pickl was assigned by Dr. Kovats to set up A-TEC Power Plant Systems GmbH as CEO.

  Stefan Romen, born 1963-03-24

  After his school leaving examination in Bozen (Italy) he gained a Master in Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Vienna. He began his professional career in 1996 at ELIN in the area of plant design and construction, especially sales. After 9 years he joined emc (Düsseldorf, Germany) where he was inter alia responsible for the set up of a Viennese office. In January 2007 he started within A-TEC Power Plant Systems GmbH as Head of Sales.
  
  Since 1st February 2009 Mr. Romen represents A-TEC PPS as COO.

  Henrik Boggild, MBA - born 1972-01-24

  He grew up in Denmark and, from 1992, studied Business Economics at the Southern Denmark Business School. In 2000 he graduated as Master of Business Administration. He started his professional career as trainee already during his studies and later as accountant for various accounting firms.
  
  In April 2000 he took over a position as controller at ALSTOM Power in Denmark. This was followed by further stages as controller at ALSTOM Power division in Paris and Baden/CH, before he took over the position of Director of Business Analysis at Havells Sylvania in Frankfurt in 2005. In March 2006 he was appointed director of finance and in this function became responsible, among others, for the Corporate Finance and IT sectors for Europe, Asia and North America. In January 2009 he was appointed chief financial officer at AE&E Lentjes GmbH.
  
  Since July 2009 Mr. Boggild is the company's financial director.
